If you answered yes to all of the above questions, you might just be Localvore’s next Community Manager!
The intention of the Community Manager is to increase engagement and build trust with local business owners and conscious consumers.
A day in the life of a Localvore Community Manager:
Networking
You are the face of Localvore and will be our eyes and ears on the ground. You’ll be expected to have daily, quality interactions with multiple merchants, in person and online. You’re creating buzz, excitement, and interest around our new product. You’re attending all on brand events and getting the name Localvore out there in the community.
Directory Curation
It is Localvore’s mission to create a directory highlighting fresh, local food and the importance it has on community. You’ll be helping new merchants set up their business profiles, while helping existing merchants stay up to date.
Writing & Photography
You’re interviewing chefs, chatting with local business owners, and checking out opening day at the new coffee shop. You will be following the production train, from farms, to the farmers market, to the kitchen; and documenting it all for the blog.
Email Marketing
You’re our eyes and ears on the ground! Each week you’ll curate a customer-facing newsletter for Localvores near you, drawing from the blog, social media, and merchant activity on Localvore.co to increase user engagement and drive traffic to the site.
Social Media
You’ll have creative freedom within our brand guidelines to create, repost, and interact with localvores on all social media accounts. Our social media presence is lively, engaging and exciting.
